Women's Quilting Group
The Maranatha quilting ladies meet the third Tuesday of each month at 1pm at the church. Our quilt tops are usually made by some of the ladies at home. When the ladies get together, they tie them. Available for use at the church are rotary cutters with mats and three sewing machines. If anyone would like to cut squares or sew, the help would be greatly appreciated! You're welcome to come and help tie quilts and enjoy the fellowship.

We have the pleasure of donating our quilts to a variety of wonderful places. Within our congregation, each baby who is baptized and each of our high school graduates receives a quilt. Locally, we have given to organizations such as Churches United for the Homeless, Habitat for Humanity, Sanford's 'end of life' quilts. We also donate quilts to fundraisers that support ministries such as Farm in the Dell and Jail Chaplain Ministries. On a national scale, quilts are sent to Alaska where they can "help open doors for them to share of Gospel."
